Houses replaced on February 2014 trip
This family will receive a new house in February 2014. Francisca lives in a mostly tin house with her daughter Migdalia, and grand-daughter Linsday. Her son Roberto travels with his job, and stays there when not working. Francisca had a mild stroke in 2012, and is again making tortillas to help with income. Migdalia is a deaconess at the church, and assists with the preschool and after school program. She recently completed beauty school and works out of the home fixing hair. Migdalia’s daughter Linsday is a very cute smiley little girl
This family will be getting a badly needed house in February 2014. Carlos and Edelmira have their 5 children, 1 grandchild, son-in-law, and Edelmira’s father living with them in their leaky wood and tin house. Father Carlos and the oldest son Joel provide most of the support for this large family. Yelsling their 15 y.o. daughter has been treated for rheumatic fever, which put a real strain on the families finances. The parents are very interested in their children being able to continue there education.
